One of the Club’s aims is to help members, and visitors improve their photography by running workshops on camera techniques and digital imaging. These workshops are run regularly throughout the season, generally monthly. The evening will be led by the more experienced members of the Club.

Our workshops are very practical and allow the participants an opportunity to learn hands on. The skill levels required range from Beginner to Intermediate. The more Advanced photographers are also welcome, their input being much appreciated.

The camera technique workshops cover all aspects of using your camera. Whereas in the digital imaging workshops we learn a variety of post-processing techniques. Most of these workshops will be based around Adobe Lightroom, Photoshop, and Photoshop Elements. We also will be making extensive use of the Google Nik Software Suite. We will be using state of the art digital equipment, thanks to the “Arts for All” scheme funded by the National Lottery. It is highly recommended that you run one of the the above products.

Adobe software products can be obtained HERE.
Google Nik Software Suite (FREE) can be obtained HERE.
