Roger is a landscape photographer, with a special affinity for the shoreline. His passion is capturing an impression of nature’s forces at work through their interaction with the immovable objects in the way, be they cliffs, cobbles, groynes or shingle. His use of slow shutter speeds captures the fleeting shapes visible as the waves roll through the beaches, driven by the wind. With a panel based on images of the shoreline, Roger was awarded his Associateship of the Royal Photographic Society in 2012
Combining his passion for photography and a background in IT, he has been an assessor for the PAGB in both the Chilterns and Southern Counties, as well as regularly lecturing in the southern region on all aspects of the photographic process. He is a contributor to Paul Foley’s Spirit & Vision photographic workshops and was invited to join Arena in 2016.
