What is the Club about?
Midhurst Camera Club was founded in 1977 and for a short time, between 2000 and 2005, was known as the Midhurst Photo Imaging Club and then the Midhurst Imaging Group, before returning to its original name in 2005.
Guests are always welcome to attend one meeting before considering full membership. Visitors can attend a Speaker Evening and pay £5 at the door.
Each month we will hold a competition, either Print or PDI (Projected Digital Image), and have a Speaker evening on a variety of topics aimed at improving our photography through techniques or with inspirational ideas and projects.
Meetings will be held either at The Old Library in Midhurst or Hampers Green Community Centre in Petworth starting at 7.30pm and finishing at 10.00pm.
Everyone is welcome from the complete beginner to the very experienced photographer and there are no restrictions regarding the type of camera used – anything from a mobile phone to a professional DSLR camera or anything in between.
